Mom putting baby powder on baby | My Organic Company

Why are baby powders and rash creams so important?

Baby powder is an astringent powder used to prevent diaper rashes as well as protecting sensitive areas on the body, where it absorbs friction on infant skin, leaving the skin dry and calm. Babies wear diapers day and night, therefore it is especially important to make sure to clean the area of your baby’s bottom, and provide it with the necessary creams to avoid skin irritation.

If your baby has especially sensitive skin then a baby powder with calendula extract and jojoba oil would suit the infant's skin just right. These ingredients calm and nourish the skin to make your baby comfortable day and night.

If your baby does happen to get a diaper rash, then it is best to use the “Diaper love organic calendula diaper rash cream”. The main ingredient called Calendula helps soothe redness and inflammation to the infant's skin. Beeswax, another ingredient that is used to provide a creamy layer to protect any further rashes.
